Enjoy a day at the pool with your pooch during the 5th Annual Dog Paddle hosted by the Heath City Water Park and the Licking County Animal Shelter. The event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the water park, located at 1287 Hebron Road, in Heath. Visitors can bring their polite dogs to swim at the park for $10 per dog, with two people admitted with each paying dog. Children younger than 12 will be admitted free. All dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination and a current county dog license. Licking County dog licenses and rabies vaccines will be available for sale during the event. The Licking County Humane Society will be participating in the paddle with 3 adoptable pups. LCHS volunteers will be handing out information about our programs and services at the event.
