LCHS has partnered with Licking County Transit for a special purpose. When the temperatures fall to dangerous levels, pets will be able to ride with their people on the transit system to get to the warming center located in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Newark. LCHS has provided Licking County Transit with kennels, carriers, leashes, and blankets so the pets can safely ride on the transit system.
